Keeping with the best of academic traditions of excellence, School of Management Studies, NFSU is organizing a two days Conference with the title "FINCON 2025: The International Financial Security and Management Conference" during 28th -29th August, 2025. The current business environment across the globe is very challenging due to disruptions by the three waves of COVID 19. With many folds increase in online financial transactions and increased use of advanced financial technologies, the extent of financial frauds has also widened. The society needs to find novel ways to tackle them with utmost care as they have not only posed challenges to individuals only but are also a challenge to national security. All functional areas need to come together to fight this challenge. The challenges are multi faced for each functional area of business-like marketing, finance, healthcare or human resource etc. The prime focus of this conference is to identify various ways for managing such changes globally.
The Conference aims at capturing role of sustainability and transparency practices in business. It seeks to deliberate upon the emerging theories, concepts and models in general, practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in particular with respect to different functionalities of management. This conference endeavors to create forum for academician, researchers, industry practitioners and students to share their ideas and research findings, and address contemporary issues and challenges in business and industry. Additionally, it attempts to propagate a research centric culture in various domains of management as well as interdisciplinary and allied fields both in Indian and global contexts.
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) is the world's first and only University dedicated to forensic science and its allied subjects. This unique University was envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi as the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2008 to be an institution of higher learning of international standard and to meet the huge shortfall of experts in the fields of forensic science across the world. It came into being on 11th February, 2009 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat with the appointment of Dr. J.M. Vyas as its first Director General. On 1st October 2020, the Government of India elevated the university into a National University and established NFSU through National Forensic Science University Act. Simultaneously, NFSU has also been accorded the status of an institution of national importance (INI). On upgradation, the erstwhile GFSU has become the Gujarat campus of NFSU and the Lok Nayak Jayprakash Narayan- National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences (LNJN NICFS) at Rohini, New Delhi as another campus. Seven more campuses/academy have been set up at Goa, Tripura, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and Karnataka. The headquarter of NFSU continues to be located at its ultra-modern and lush green campus at Gandhinagar, the capital city of a vibrant and industrious state of Gujarat.
School of Management Studies (SMS) is one of the constituent School of National Forensic Sciences University. At present, the school offers four post-graduate programs and one graduate program, explicitly, MBA in Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigation, MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management, MBA in Cyber Security Management, MBA in Business Analytics & Intelligence and BBA-MBA Integrated. School of Management Studies with a solitary aim to create professionals and experts in the field of Forensic Management and Technology. The school is also engaged in conducting academic programs and imparting need based professional training to Chartered Accountants, Bankers, Financial Institutions and other officials working in the field of justice delivery system from India as well as abroad.
